General Supplier Terms and Conditions
Manufacturers must not be substituted without express authorization. We reserve the right to return shipments arriving too early.
Action to be reimbursed for unauthorized fees/charges not disclosed at the purchase order.
Action, our customer and regulatory authorities reserve the right to all appropriate levels in the supply chain to inspect records and facilities of suppliers as needed and to check requirements of test reports, certificates of conformity, and airworthiness as applies.
Record retention: seller’s product, process control, and quality records shall be retained at the seller’s location a minimum of five years unless retention period is specified on the purchase order or drawing. The records shall be adequate to ascertain the quality level of production processes. Quality records shall be provided upon request from the Action’s purchasing staff.
Additional Requirements
Action Electronics, Inc. communicates to external providers its requirements for:
A. The processes, products, and services to be provided, including the identification of relevant technical data (e.g., specifications, drawings, process requirements, work instructions);
B. The approval of:
- products and services.
- methods, processes, and equipment.
- the release of products and services.
C. Competence, including any required qualification of persons.
D. The external providers’ interactions with Action Electronics, Inc.;
E. Control and monitoring of the external providers’ performance to be applied by Action Electronics, Inc.;
F. Verification or validation activities that Action Electronics, Inc., or its customer, intends to perform at the external providers’ premises.
G. Design and development control.
H. Special requirements, critical items, or essential characteristics.
I. Test, inspection, and verification (including production process verification)
J. The use of statistical techniques for product acceptance and related instructions for acceptance by Action.
K. The need to:
- implement a quality management system.
- use customer-designated or approved external providers, including process sources (e.g., unique processes);
- notify Action Electronics of nonconforming processes, products, or services and obtain approval for their disposition.
- prevent the use of counterfeit parts.
- notify Action Electronics of changes to processes, products, or services, including changes of their external providers or location of manufacture, and obtain Action Electronics, Inc. approval.
- flow down to external providers’ applicable requirements, including customer requirements.
- provide test specimens for design approval, inspection/verification, investigation, or auditing.
- retain documented information, including retention periods and disposition requirements,
I. The right of access by Action Electronics, Inc., their customer, and regulatory authorities to the applicable areas of facilities and applicable documented information, at any level of the supply chain.
M. Ensuring that persons are aware of:
- their contribution to product or service conformity.
- their contribution to product safety.
- the importance of ethical behavior.
